This membership management website was done for Retail Design Institute. The Institute is an international organization consisting of a variety of levels and types of professionals in the retail design industry.

The goal of this large-scale membership-management software and website build was to replace a Code-Igniter-based association website that was starting to feel its age. We needed to be able to replace it fully and quickly.

A Full-service Membership Management Website with All the Needed Capabilities

Above all else, we wanted to make it easier for the Institute to manage members, chapters, events, ticketing & registration, payments, subscriptions, merchandise sales, classified ads, job postings, resume postings, news postings, image galleries, file libraries, projects, meetings, and members-only content and site sections.

With their need to make membership management more simple and automated, we decided that Membershipworks was the perfect choice for the Institute. Though MembershipWorks is primarily geared for business associations, it has all of the base functionality we needed, the best support, and at the best price for a managed solution.

With the many additional features they needed – we knew we would would also want to go with a WordPress integration for this build to fit their additional needs such as classifieds, file libraries, individual chapter pages and chapter administrators, and an online store capable of selling physical merchandise as well as downloads.
